15 May 2012

Kia Ora

Kiwi's love their triathlons and Auckland is gearing up to come out and cheer on this year's Grand Final in a way that has never been seen before! Last year's World Cup race saw over 30,000 spectators turn up and turn it on, creating an amazing buzz for competitors, and this year will be even bigger.

On or off the track, you'll experience the genuine hospitality and friendly welcome that has made Kiwi's famous!

Your formal welcome will take place on Thursday night at the Opening Ceremony, where you'll be able to meet other competitors and get a real taste for Kiwi food and culture.

And to help you really feel at home we've put together a special text (SMS) service, just for visiting athletes. One easy text and you'll be able to find out where the best Italian restaurant is, or a friendly and expert local bike shop or even get the inside scoop on the best one-day sightseeing excursions...
