FUNDRAISING

Take on the challenge that is Tri Auckland and help raise money for charity.

The 2015 Barfoot & Thompson World Triathlon Auckland, known as Tri Auckland, is back on the beautiful Auckland waterfront course over the weekend of 28 & 29 March. This event is proving to be one of the iconic events on the calendar for the central city. For the 2015 event we have created a Fundraising platform for individuals and teams to embrace their chosen charity and raise funds during their training and event lead in campaign.

After you have entered your chosen Tri Auckland event there are three ways you or your team can raise money for charity with Tri Auckland 2015.

1. Raising money for a Charity of your choice: You can be a hero for your favourite charity or cause by creating your own fundraising page now and raise money for a charity close to your heart. You can share a special message of inspiration, start a blog, share an image or video, and all easily accessible to your friends, family and colleagues. Get started now and choose from over 100 charities!

2. Sponsoring a friend, colleague, mate or family member competing in Tri Auckland 2015.

If you are not competing but want to get behind someone’s fundraising effort, you can do this by sponsoring an athlete in Tri Auckland 2015.

3. Make a one-off donation to the Tri Auckland 2015 official charity – Auckland Regional Helicopter Trust

During the entry process you will be asked if you would like to make a one-off donation to our chosen charity for the event – the Auckland Regional Helicopter Trust.  If you wish to do so, simply select from the drop-down list after you have followed the entry process and nominate the amount you wish to donate, every dollar helps!

You will receive a tax receipt for the donation within a week of entering.
